Soil Testing

Our soil laboratories are operated by experienced technicians who use modern, state-of-the-art equipment that includes computer data processing. Laboratory testing is performed according to applicable Amercian Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) and Caltrans test methods in order to determine the engineering characteristics of soils. Tests include gradation, expansion potential, Atterberg Limits, laboratory compaction, consolidation and direct shear.
