LGC provides full service investigation, design, preparation of construction drawings, and observation and testing during construction for soil nail and tieback walls. More than ever, soil nail and tieback walls are becoming an economic way to solve difficult retaining conditions where either overall stability or adjacent improvements prevent the use of traditional retaining walls. LGC has designed and constructed numerous walls in a myriad of different situations. Our designs have varied from simple low soil nail walls where temporary stability prevented the use of a traditional retaining wall, to the design of stabilization systems consisting of hundreds of 450 kip capacity tiebacks and 30-inch thick grade beams. We can design combination systems of soil nails, tiebacks, and caissons to value engineer your specific conditions.
