Landslide Stabilization

LGC is either the consultant of record or is serving as third party reviewer for local jurisdictions on projects involving the four largest landslides in Orange County currently under development. Due to rapid growth and rising land costs, areas that in previous years were not cost effective to develop due to landslide stability issues are now being developed. Entire communities, including hundreds of homes and public streets, have been or are being constructed entirely upon landslides that have been stabilized due to the efforts of LGC. From utilization of standard earth moving techniques such as shear keys and earth buttresses to state of the art techniques such as dewatering systems, tieback walls, and caisson shear pins, LGC has proven itself as the premier geotechnical expert in slope stabilization design.
