Tim Lawson

Timothy Lawson, founded Lawson & Associates Geotechnical Consulting, Inc. (AKA LGC Coastal) in May 2001. Mr. Lawson's education and over 18 years of work experience in engineering and geology gave him a unique perspective to form a geotechnical consulting company. He has been involved in numerous projects throughout Southern California including hillside grading; fault studies; individual landslide investigations; distress evaluations; and expert testimony.

Mr. Lawson is one of a select few individuals registered as a geotechnical engineer and a certified engineering geologist. With these credentials, he is able to accurately and efficiently review a broad range of geotechnical projects, which would normally take the expertise of two or more professionals. During his career, Mr. Lawson has made numerous presentations to homeowner associations, City councils, professional associations, clients, and legal teams regarding complex geotechnical issues. Currently, Mr. Lawson resides in San Clemente with his wife and two children.
