Matthew Hawley

Matthew Hawley is President of "LGC Valley". Mr. Hawley has over 15 years of practical experience in Southern California and has worked on a wide variety of projects including: landslide and slope instability investigations and mitigations (including coastal geology); hillside grading for major transportation, residential, commercial and water retention facilities; flat land grading for large commercial and residential facilities; in-fill projects within jurisdictions such as City of Los Angeles; liquefaction studies; earthquake fault investigations; and forensic investigations and reviews.

Mr. Hawley has also worked in habitat sensitive sites, environmental clean-up sites and with numerous outside agencies. Mr. Hawley oversees all aspects of the Simi Valley office and enjoys reconnaissance mapping, in-grade field mapping, writing, and training up-and-coming geologists.

Mr. Hawley, his wife and three sons reside in the historic city of Fillmore located in the beautiful Santa Clara River Valley.
